WAPT Pro User Interface
WAPT Pro Workplace
provides the user interface for test engineers. It is used to design test scenarios,
launch and control test execution, and analyze the results.
WAPT Pro Workplace provides a complete set of interface controls to make your
work quicker and easier.
Program Menus
allow managing your profiles, requests,
test scenarios and test results with a number of options.
Context Menus
allow performing program operations by right-clicking
the mouse and choosing the needed command.
Toolbar allows
performing program operations using the functional buttons.
Navigation Pane
will help you navigate between different program views.
If you click on any item of the Navigation Pane, you will see its contents in the right pane.
Hot Keys
allow performing some program operations using the combination of keys
instead of toolbar buttons and menu options.
Command Line
allows
performing program operations without opening WAPT Pro Workplace.
Settings
dialog allows adjusting program settings.
You can use Load Agent Manager
if you need to change the settings of Load Agent running on the current computer.
The following program views will allow you to prepare a test.
Recorder:
It is Microsoft® Internet Explorer window where
you can record the real activity as you navigate through a web site.
Profile
Properties: Here you can view and modify the
properties of selected user profile.
Request
Properties: Here you can view and modify the
properties of selected request.
Test Volume
defines
parameters of test run: the number of virtual users, test duration, date and time when the test will be
started.
Log and
Report Settings view displays options for saving log files, HTML reports
and test results.
Performance
Counters view
enables configuring the program to collect performance counters statistics for the tested server during test runs.
Load Agents:
Use this view to specify the list of Load Agents that will emulate
user activity and generate the test load during test runs.
Results folder of the Navigation Pane represents the results
of test run in the form of text reports and graphs.
The program has a comprehensive Log Viewer which provides a detailed representation
of sent requests, received server responses and errors appeared during test run.
Additional Toolbar will help you navigate through the log.
It becomes active when you click on any item of the Logs tree view.
